Purchased at the Georgetown Shell at 912 Danbury Road, the winning numbers were: 5 – 14 – 31 – 40 – 50. The Powerball number was 6, and the Power Play multiplier number was 2.

CT Lottery said the new millionaire has not yet claimed the prize. They have until Oct. 29 to do so. All tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date, they added.

In total, 11,107 winning Powerball tickets were sold statewide for that date, with prizes ranging from $4 to $1,000,000, CT Lottery officials said.

If you weren't the lucky winner, this Saturday's Powerball jackpot is an estimated $215 million with a cash value of $127.7 million.

The overall odds of winning a Powerball prize are 1 in 24.9. Odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338 million.

There are other several winning lottery tickets that have not been claimed in Fairfield County, according to officials, that's why it's so important to check those tickets sooner, rather than later.
